EKP Framework

The EKP framework consists of numerous on-line learning objects that are integrated into the following three broad categories of functionality:

Users are assigned various objects and functions based on their role (e.g. student, instructor, administrator), where you can define new roles (such as country administrator or appraiser) and assign specific functionality to each role.

The overall EKP framework combines these application objects with a high-performance relational database management system to handle:

EKP can be deployed on a notebook PC, in small, department-sized environments or corporate enterprise UNIX servers.

Content administration is handled via a browser interface that allows administrators to manage student information, system parameters, statistics, security, cost reporting, vendor information, scheduling, and reporting in a secure manner.

Content administration performs many of the back office functions of the framework, including import/export of information using XML-based messages.

Screen interaction between EKP and the user is handled dynamically, with each screen being created according to user preferences, targeted information assignments, role permissions, user interface selections, and content changes.
